Takedown Procedure

  • Barber Xpert will review the claim, verify the details, and temporarily disable or remove the allegedly infringing material
  • The affected party will be notified and given an opportunity to submit a counter-notice if they believe the material was removed in error
  • We will preserve a copy of all communications and actions for recordkeeping purposes

Counter-Notification

If you believe your content was removed or disabled due to mistake or misidentification, you may submit a DMCA counter-notice including:

  • Your signature (physical or electronic)
  • Identification of the removed material and its original location
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you believe the material was wrongly removed or is non-infringing
  • Your name, address, telephone number, and email
  • A statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the relevant court and that you’ll accept service of process from the person who submitted the original DMCA notice

If a valid counter-notice is received, the removed content may be reinstated within 10-14 business days unless the original claimant takes legal action.

Repeat Infringer Policy

Barber Xpert maintains a zero-tolerance approach toward repeat infringement. Accounts and content authors found repeatedly violating copyright terms will face:

  • Account suspension or termination
  • Restriction on submitting future content
  • Potential legal referral if infringement continues after warnings

Third-Party Platforms

Barber Xpert is not liable for content hosted externally (e.g., embedded social media, external website links) and will refer DMCA claims to the relevant platform when applicable.
